You could go with your translation but... Explanation: ...to give you more detail: Most of time companies don't want to have an interdependence because this results in control and control leads to consolidation. Therefore "ensuring" should not be used. I also would not use "representatives" in this context. Perhaps somethin like this: "Some executive board members of the holding company are also executive board members of subsidiaries. Therefore there is an interdependence between the holding and its subsidiaries." native German, own work as public accountant |

mutual board members of the governing bodies Explanation: try this: The integration of the holding company with its subsidiaries, is established due to mutual board members of the governing bodies. |

human common denominator Explanation: Teilweise = partial Person = Person Identität = identity, also in the sense of equality /same thing Personenidentität = same people >> identification through persons teilweise Personenidentität = partial identification through persons. I would prefer something like "human common denominator". But I am not sure I can use denominator in this sense... What you suggest reflects the general idea, however I'd rather think that "Verflechtung" should be understood more as an active bonding feature, especially because of the "teilweise Personnenidentität". In my opinion it means that the holding company tries to reinforce the internal links (Verflechtung) by building a common image through the representatives from the holding company in the subs executive boards. So think "link" rather than "interdependance" the link being materialised by the representative. However I'm neither German native nor English native, forgive my boldness... Regards |

reciprocal representations Explanation: Try this: “The holding company and its subsidiaries are interlinked through reciprocal representations on executive boards." I like the other suggestions as well. This is just one more way of saying it that may suit your need. Fuad Just a suggestion |
