I'm not really familiar with insurance terminology, so I'd like to check whether there's a special way of formulating this in English or is it just "limited to first risk"?

My insurance dictionary translates Erst-risiko Versicherung as first loss insurance.
first loss insurance
A policy that covers only a single loss during the policy period or that provides coverage of multiple locations for only the first loss at each location during the policy period. Also, a policy whose limits are reduced (and not reinstated) by loss payments.
