German term or phrase: Alters-Kinderrenten
This appears in a table of statistics for a bank pension fund report. Someone (not me, honest) has translated it as "Retiree child's pensions" which looks horrible.. but I really have no idea. The list is of "Rentenbezüger" & the categories are:
Altersrenten, Alters-Kinderrenten, Invalidenrenten, etc.

Any help very much appreciated!

Additional child benefit for pensioners
Explanation:
A very Swiss and Swiss only expression - I have come across it before - it means that a pensioner gets a top-up on his/her pension for every child which is still a minor/in education. Once the child has reached 18 or finished education (max 25 yrs) that top-up stops. You have to translate it in a round-about way.

Explanation:

agree  David Hollywood: see chapter 8 of this multilingual ref (the English version sounds stilted but the meaning comes through - "entitled to child benefit") http://64.233.179.104/search?q=cache:SgxrCkC55JsJ:www.avs-ai...

pension benefit for dependent children

Explanation:
Under some pension plans if you are old enough to get a pension but you are still caring for an minor child, you get some extra money for the child. That's the Alters-Kinderrente.
