My problem is with the second sentence which I understand to mean as follows:
Always ready to go one step further/ to put in the extra effort and not automatically adding it to the Agentur-Controllingbill. What is Agentur-Controlling? Is my understanding correct? Any help much appreciated.

...without automatically adding it to your bill
Explanation:
Presumably an advertising/marketing agency, hence the "Agentur"

Their controlling dept. is the (cost) accounts function. I would wonder to what extent they even need a "mention in despatches" in the context?

Accountant

Explanation:
In this context I would say:
Always ready to go one step further/ to put in the extra effort without automatically having the accountant add it to the bill.

You could also say accounting agency if you wanted to.

neutral  Textklick: Accounting agency? That would be more to with an auditing rather than internal accounting: search for "agency" here: http://www.icaew.com/index.cfm?route=105098

-> Yes, you can often use auditing for the term controlling. I think in this situation I think accountant would be appropriate (They are also external). Perhaps its just a difference between AE and BE.
