Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / business structure
German term or phrase: durchgängig
Hi all
Here we have some very general blurb about new appointees at the head of a business subsidiary. I'm leaning towards something like "consistent" in this context, as the implication seems to be that this subsidiary is now just like all the other companies in the group. Any ideas out there?

Thanks very much
DB

disagree  Teresa Reinhardt: that's definitely NOT what "durchgängig" means

uniform

Explanation:
that's a little more literal, and doesn't suggest that there was anything 'wrong' before, which "consistent" might

agree  Kcda: I presume you meant ( "...which the word consistent might...? ) the word consistent is good as is and "uniform" would be almost synonymous. I would second this but the word uniform would require a longer sentence. Otherwise fine with me! :)

Explanation:

neutral  Kcda: IMO "feasible" would be closer than "viable" but both are too vague in this context. Possibly you are not fully "daneben" with your assumptions.
