This occurs in marketing literature for a management techniques seminar. The message here is concerned with the idea that companies can (and should) be treated as people, and the following sentence is preparing this by saying that images of this sort are often used.

'Aktiengesellschaften haben "Speck angesetzt", Firmen sind gut oder schlecht "aufgestellt", "blind" für Veränderungen oder brauchen eine Erneuerung an "Haupt und Gliedern". Die Managementsprache ist voll von Metaphern und Konzepten, die Unternehmen wie eine Person behandeln.'

But what does "aufgestellt" means when used like this of a company?

...at least that's the literal meaning, I'm not sure it fits here.

I assume the expression comes from sports (eine gut/schlecht aufgestellte Mannschaft).

Try a Google search for "wir sind gut aufgestellt, um" for examples of usage.
