German to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
German term or phrase: Existenzsicherung
"Berater im Bereich Existenzgründung und Sicherung, Marketing und Vertrieb".

It seems that there should be a dash before Sicherung in the source text, so that it refers to Existenzsicherung together with Existenzgründung. I can't seem to find references for Existenzsicherung in this context together with Existenzgründung, which refers to start-ups. I just see dictionary results referring to the subsistence and livelihood of individuals, whereas here I suspect something more fitting for a business entity would be needed.

If you need more context let me know, but I figured it is pretty self-explanatory that I need a name for this field, and that this comes from a consultant's profile.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Horst. Your answer gave me the idea for the answer I eventually used: "business startup and development". Based on your suggestion, I was thinking business startup and establishment, but then I saw that there were over 70,000 Google hits for the development variety, and it seems to be a standard field that refers to approximately the same thing in English. Thanks to everyone else for your suggestions too.

assuring one's livelihood

Explanation:
"Securing" is a literal translation that misses the target, "Securing" usually means "to obtain", not "to ensure"

livelihood security

Explanation:

I even thought of "livelihood assurance (project)", but couldn't get adequate google confirmation :
Livelihood assurance for all is the objective with greatest priority; Livelihood assurance is fulfilment of livelihood needs with sufficient dependability ...

"livelihood assurance project"

"livelihood strategies" googles very well, but I'm not sure whether it's ok to use it with 'consultant'.

business coach for establishment and security questions

Explanation:
"Berater im Bereich Existenzgründung und Sicherung, Marketing und Vertrieb"

To keep the formal language and lengthiness of the title the translation could be: "Consultant for establishment and security of livelihoods, marketing and sales"

...but how do you like "Business coach" ...for establishment and security questions, marketing and sales"? For individuals it would be a "life coach".
