German to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / Flow diagrams representing business processes
German term or phrase: Zerlegungsbeziehung
Zerlegungsbeziehung: Ein Prozess besteht aus 0,* Teilprozessen (durchgezogene Linie)

This term is used to describe a link between two processes on a value chain diagram of business processes. The overall text is talking about how existing business processes should be identified and recorded in diagram form for the purposes of designing and introducing new software systems to support these same processes.

I have found the following explanation, but I still can't find a seemingly correct English term:

"Eine Funktionsbeziehung kann eine "Zerlegungsbeziehung" (Funktion A wird verfeinert zu Funktionen A21 und A22), eine "Steuerungs-" oder "Kontrollbeziehung" (Funktion A löst Funktion B aus) oder eine "Kommunikationsbeziehung" (Funktion A übermittelt Nachrichten an Funktion B) sein."

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Notes to answerer
Asker: "parsing" seems to be used in more grammatical examples. Do you have an example of it being used in a computing/process modelling context?
