Eine kleine Führungsspanne ermöglicht es dem Vorgesetzten besser auf die Mitarbeiter einzugehen und demnach auch angepasster zu führen. Grundsätzlich bedeutet aber eine kleine Führungsspanne auch, dass eine unter Umständen viel grössere Anzahl an Führungskräften benötigt wird und somit auch höhere Lohnkosten anfallen.
