| | English translation:Swiss Federal Control Number | Explanation: I looked at a few Swiss sites and this phrase is used for various things, i.e. food, medicine, even for members of a seminar, etc. I could not find an "offical Eng." translation. Eidgenössische means federal, as opposed to cantonal or municiple in Switzerland. It is a unique Swiss usage and for Germ. speakers the Swiss part is understood. However, for Eng. I think you have to add the word Swiss. |
