Aus einem Prüfungszeugnis für Berg- und Skiführer, ein Prüfungsgebiet heißt:

"Alpine Gefahren und Unfallkunde"

Alpine Hazards and .....

No other context. Andere Prüfungsgebiete: Erste Hilfe, Orientierungs- und Kartenkunde, Bergrettung. Thanks for any help you can offer.

IF THERE WERE AN ACCIDENT, WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO SAVE LIVES?
COURSE CURRICULUM:
Providing two days of intense training in both personal and basic rescue skills. Initially dedicated to developing the individual's personal mountaineering skills, the rescue element of the course will then look at the techniques for effective mountain rescue work. The final days will include an involvement in scenarios working alongside the Wilderness First Aid commands with a full days rescue scenario. Skills covered will include navigation, personal rope-work, search techniques and communications.

My take on Unfallkunde is the knowledge about how to act in situations, involving accidents. This course description seems to fit.
