German to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs | | German term or phrase: umfassende Ausübung | "Auf Grund dieser Approbation, ist er zur umfassenden Ausubung des artzlichen Berufs in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland berechtigt".
Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with the meaning of "umfassenden Ausubung".
Is it the idea of "comprehensive"?
It doesnt seem to make sense in my translation:
"On the basis of this license, he is entitled to practice comprehensive medicine in the Federal Republic of Germany."
Can anybody help me with the meaning of "umfassenden" here please?
Many thanks! |

| | .... entitled to practise without restriction | Explanation: Based on this approval, he is entitled to practise medicine anywhere in the Federal Republic of Germany
...... he will have the right to practise medicine..........
What the author means by "comprehensive" is that permission in absolute terms, i.e. without any restrictions whatever
