English translation: suspension of licence to practice medicine

German term or phrase:Ausübung des ärztlichen Berufs suspendiert
"Er war nach meinen Unterlage zu keiner Zeit von der Ausubung des artzlichen Berufs suspendiert oder dafur ungeeignet erklart".
This sentence is part of an approval letter for somebody applying for citizenship. "von der Ausubung des artzlichen Berufs suspendiert".
I'm pretty sure I have the translation for "Zeit von der Ausubung des artzlichen Berufs suspendiert" correct.
However, I wanted to make sure that it is not a set term. Many thanks for your help with this.

Explanation: A light google shows heaps of examples. I would render the sentence:
"...at no time has his licence to practice medicine been suspended, nor has he been declared unfit to practice."
Changes include 'at no time' (agree with Kim) and 'declared'. Depending on which English it's in you might need to change the spelling of 'licence' to 'license'.

The reason I steered away from license is because in some countries you don't have to have a license to work as a doctor (physician, specialist, general practitioner). For example, in Russia at the present time you only have a license if you have your own practice, if you work in a hospital or any other medical establishment, you don't need it, the hospital has to obtain one. The government is currently working on a transition to licensing for individuals. I know that the situation in Russia is not quite relevant here, but I want to explain my thought process behind my answer.
