jägerbataillon rifle battalion Explanation: A Jägerbatallion is a rifle battalion, ("straight leg" infantry as we called them as oppossed to mechanized or airborne infrantry because more often than not they are transported using LPCs - "leather personnel carriers" aka boots) normally Gebirgsjäger which would be a Mountain Bn in the US Army. The Kompanieführungstrupp is the company HQ section (normally a HQ platoon in the USA) |
