German term or phrase: dauerte rel. lange

The immediate context is the carrying out of wetting tests on various ODTs.
Well, in the following sentence, base on the need for stirring, I would expect the first part of the sentence to say that the wetting profess took a relatively long time.. Am I correct in interpreting "dauerte rel. lange" in this way? I am sure that this is a very elementary question, but I am a bit uncertain.. Many Thanks.

As seen from that comprehensive dictionary, you shoud distinguish between "dauern (to take time)" and "andauern (to last). Unfortunately, no other peer focussed that difference.

Note: Due to my business trips, I saw the question already evalutated by several peers 16 hours after posting and added an alternate proposal, as I recognized that the term was "dauern" instead of "andauern", what would be correctly translateds by "to last", and found confirmations in the internet. I do not count Kims agree to "last", as he never agrees to me.

I could consult my dictionaries only after return to home, but I was sure about the translation, as soon I had seen the question three days ago.
