German to English translations [PRO] Medical - Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng / Dental Impressions | | German term or phrase: Silikon entspannen | "Behandeln Sie Ihre Abformung artgerecht vor (Silikon entspannen, Polyether mit Wasser benetzen) und füllen Sie die Abformung vorsichtig und blasenfrei und bis zum oberen Rand der beschnittenen Abformung auf."
From a text about pin drills, dental impressions and suchlike. I'm not sure what "entspannen" means exactly in relation to silicone. TIA for your help. |

| Grading comment Yeah, I was kind of thinking it might be something like this, but wasn't completely sure (some dictionaries offered semi-plausible alternatives like "expand", which confused me). So many thanks Bernd, and thanks also to the peer graders for added confirmation. Appreciate everyone's help. Sorry the late grade - for some odd reason, I thought I'd already graded this! 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |
