Begriff kommt aus einer Pressemeldung - gemeint ist ein Zusammenschluss von chemischen Firmen mit Institutionen u. Organisationen, die im engeren u. weiteren Sinn mit Chemie befasst sind.
Vorziehen würde ich: chemicals cluster bzw cluster of chemical companies, institutions and organisations.
Wer weiß genaueres in der proz.com - Gemeinde?
