from a film synopsis about Sikkim:

Aufnahmen dieser einzigartigen Landschaft stehen im Zentrum.
Das Leben in den verschiedenen Vegetationszonen wird dokumentiert. In den Teegärten der südlichen Täler, in den Kardamomplantagen, bei Kleinbauern.
Besuch in einem ländlichen Computerzentrum.

Wir begleiten einen Treck zum letzten Pass vor dem Gletscher des Kangchenchunga... Eine Gelegenheit, die Lebensbedingungen der Träger, der Köche und der qualifizierten Führer kennenzulernen. Protagonist ist der tibetischstämmige Guide Phassang Buthia, der auch den Zugang zu seinen Mitarbeitern erschließt.

In Ralong, einem großen, aktiven buddhistischen Kloster(!).
Beim Chaam-Ritual. Sowohl der Alltag in einem buddhistischen Kloster als auch die geheimnissvollen Rituale finden Beachtung.

Das Leben in der Hauptstadt Gangtok wird durch die Begleitung einer jungen, gut ausgebildeten Sikimmerin dargestell....

Es wird Material für 2 TV-Beitrage mit sehr geringen Bildüberschneidungen produziert:

1. AT: Ein modernes Shangri-La? Mittelalter trifft Moderne in Sikkim/ India (möglich für ein arte-Format)

2. AT: Am Fuße des Kangchenchunga, des unbekannten Giganten ( möglich für ein Format bei Discovery-Channel)


Kurztreatment is tech film production jargon - who knows what the correct English term is?? No guesswork please, I can do that myself.

Oh and I'm also struggling with 1.AT and 2.AT ....

agree  Bernhard Sulzer: I suppose that would be okay. We never used "brief" treatment in school but you're the expert. It seems the length can vary, although I understand it as a rather short (3-10 pages long) summary.
