From a film location contract. I'm not quite sure what to do with "auftraggebenden Sender". I guess it's the broadcaster paying for the programme to be made. But is this a contracting broadcaster, client broadcaster or what? I want the correct term. TIA for your help.

commissioning broadcaster
Explanation:
I would call this a "commissioning broadcaster"

"S4C is a commissioning broadcaster, rather than a programme producer, creating jobs and boosting the local economy throughout Wales. All the services on offer are transmitted from S4C's Headquarters in Llanishen, Cardiff. "
