Context:

"Es sind keinerlei Schnittstellen vorgesehen die eine Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Produkten ermöglichen."

This is re- a microtome, which is used to cut thin sections of biological material, so I suspect that this means that there are no interfaces provided to permit use in conjunction with any other devices, rather than actually meaning -- as the German implies -- that there is no way of using it with other products (i.e. biological samples)?
