Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software
German term or phrase: Klapptexte
From the DTP-software description: "Klapptexte, die vom Anwender auf- und zugeklappt werden". They mean content that appears fully only after you click on a button that says something like "expand" or "read more", and disappears when you click "collapse" or similar. Does anybody know the technical term for this in English? Thank you!

Verdammt kompliziert zu dlesen deine Fragestellung etc ... Google doch mal nach "Javascript klapptext". Ich denke dann solltest du finden, was du suchst.

Show and Hide Blocks of Text (or Images) with CSS and JavaScript
One of the ways that Web pages often differ from applications on the desktop is how content appears. In applications, you click on something, and the application immediately makes a change to show the content or provide you with your answer. But with Web pages, typically you have to reload the page or go to a completely new page. This can make the experience more disjointed - as your customers have to wait for the first page to load and then wait again for the second page and so on. But with DHTML you can create an application-style experience - and one of the easiest ways is to have DIVs that toggle on and off when they are requested.

"pop-up text" or "pop up text" is the generic term used for such texts that appear either by clicking or simply by rolling the pointer over the hotspot (in these cases: rollover or "hover-over pop up text").

-> Please read through sources (see below) and answers (see above) more carefully. As I said, pop-up text is a generic term referring to text that appears either by clicking or simply by passing over the hotspot.

Reference: Tooltip/Quickinfo

Reference information:
From you description given, the correct term cannot be "pop up" since the open automatically.
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop-up

It can also not be "mouseover" since those open when placing the cursor (the mouse) over the respective word/field - no need to click here either.

This one (though redirected from mouseover) is more general in its description and suggests "tooltip" or "quickinfo". In case no more specific term can be found I rather suggest one of these - since they less descriptive and just refer to what you get.
