Für die MTA ist der Kontotyp 1 von hoher Bedeutung. Konten der Klasse 0, also Anlagekonten, müssen den Kontotyp 1 ANL, die Erlös- und Ertragskonten aus der Klasse 4 ebenfalls den Kontotyp 1 ANL und AfA-Konten aus der Klasse 7 müssen den Kontotyp 1 AFA hinterlegt haben.

Explanation:
Die Kontoart muss bei Einrichtung/Erfassung des Kontos definiert werden.
"ABC accounts must be set up with account type XYZ" (alternativ zu "set up" auch "captured" oder "entered")
oder anders herum "account type XYZ must be defined for ABC accounts"

Über die Kontoart und Kontoklasse wird defniert wie die Kontodaten später in AfA, GuV und Bilanzen einfließen. In unseren Systemen gibt es z.T. Musterkontenvorlagen für die einzelnen Kontoarten, die zur Erfassung neuer Konten verwendet werden können.
