You haven't taken on board Andrew's point that "es können" is impersonal. Andrew is completely right. "Es können" simply means "it is also possible to" - the "es" does not refer back to anything in the preceding sentence, and most certainly not to the containers, as your use of "they" implies.

You really need to brush up on your basic grammar! Apart from the point Andrew has made, you've made several other mistakes:

"Container" is plural - that's why it says "können... die Container"
It doesn't mean "conformity with the database designer" - it means "The database designer can be used to check the containers for conformity."
Also, bedaten doesn't mean calibrate.
