David, you are right that this doesn't seem to make much sense because both terms actually refer to the value that is to be replaced. If for the second one they wanted a new value (a replacing value), they would have to say "Ersetzender Wert" or "(Neu) Einzusetzender Wert" in German, i.e. that's quite a similar wording and it is possible that they made an error in the source document. On the other hand, it is possible that both "Name" and "Wert" refer to the value to be replaced and that in the first field they want the user to enter a name for the old value (as text) and in the second the actual value (as a number). I think this is something to confirm with the client. |
