German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software | | German term or phrase: (Wieder)Aufruf | The terms Wiederaufruf and aufruf appear in the manual of a lab-device that can be programmed. Here is what I have understood:
Wiederaufruf = fact of selecting and running an existing program (there's a RCL (Recall i presume) button)
Aufruf = Attempt to select/run a programm, which may not even exist.
Could you please make your suggestion for translations of both terms. Thx |

They don't belong here (IMHO). :-) - Digital_boy (asker): 8:50am Sep 10, 2004: Interference of French mother tongue, mes plus plates excuses - Derek Gill Franßen: 9:05am Sep 10, 2004: I looked at your profile and figured as much; no problem. I do, however, think it is good to wait 24 h. before selecting a suggestion. In spite of my confidence, I am not always right - I'd be careful choosing so quickly! ;-) -

| Note from asker to answererThank you very much! Sometimes it's as simple as this! I was not sure that the verb "to call" could apply to a program, but if you say it :) 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |
