Es ist stellenweise ein alter Holzschutzanstrich am Dachstuhl erkennbar, ebenso stellenweise alte **Bebeilung**; teilweise Folie unterhalb der Dachpfannen gespannt.

ax damage as a result of pest control ? Oder gibt es dafür einen feststehenden englischen Ausdruck?

Asker: You are correct, unless "Bebeilung" is a common treatment for insect infested trusses. Alte Bebeilung would indicate a treatment after the house was built (which was in 1908) since it is detected only in some arease which would mean this is not a case where the beams of the trusses were axe-hewn at the time of installation. Just want to make sure I am getting this right as it would have significant implications in regards to the assessment of the building.
