Is this the junction or contact point between different colours?

Explanation:
It means "point where colors meet". The whole sentence needs paraphrasing, and I would say something like "making clean paint lines where two or more colors meet, such as corners and edges."

I ended up using "producing straight-lines on surfaces, in the corner of rooms or along construction elements where two or more colours meet"

Explanation:

The Allure panels also have a contrast colour joint but it is different to the Ambiance joint. Allure panels have a 2 plank effect with a v-groove joint. The recess of the joint has coloured strip which contrasts with the surface colour of the panel, the colour of the strip depends on which panel is chosen.

we have been struggling with the problem of butting one colour up against another and doing it without being able to feel an edge after all the clears and sanding are done.

disagree  Kim Metzger: "Colour joint" doesn't work in English in this context. The only relevant English language site you list refers to the joints between panels. The other references are from non-English sites.

-> "Farbstoß" is rare as well in German for this type of work. So we have to invent a little bit or to lent terms from other branches.
