German term or phrase: Betonrüttelsäule
"Versinken der Betonrüttelsäule durch negative Einflüsse der Wasserhaltung in der Baugrube..."

The ‘Vibroflo’ tube is accurately located over the column position. Concrete is then pumped through an internal tube. This fills the protective bottom chamber which is constructed to be the diameter of the Vibro Concrete Column (V.C.C) to be formed (normally 450mm).

Vibro Concrete Columns can be classified as cast-in-situ displacement piles. This type of pile has a high bearing capacity due to a high mantle friction and the enlarged base that can be installed when dry concrete is used.
