German term or phrase: Objekteur
ONe of these silly little made up words, the precise meaning of which is doubtless clear to native German speakers, but not to me. Help!

"Objekteur (im Projektgeschäft über 200 qm Verlegefläche tätig)"

"Objekteure, die im Wohnungsbau tätig sind, befinden sich in starkem Wettbewerb und benötigen ebenfalls große Mengen im Niedrigpreissegment"

in a descirption of customer groups of a flooring firm.

Explanation:
Just recently we had a similar De>En KudoZ question re. "Objektsektor", and we agreed on "contract(ing) sector".

The title of the website http://www.teppich-malke.de/ (Objekteur: Teppich Malke) seems to underpin my assumption.

http://www.schoenox.de/schoenox/ref_stadtverwaltung_h.htm supports my suggestion as well (text extract: \"Der Generalauftragnehmer war die Baufirma Bilfinger & Berger, die den Auftrag für die Bodenbelagsarbeiten an den Objekteur Knoche und Junghans aus Hermsdorf vergab.\").

-> Yes, that's true for my second example but we can't be sure re. Jeremy's text (so I'd still go for "contractor").
