Auch im Zusammenhang mit einer Diätvorschrift.
Kontext:
Auf Paniertes soll generell verzichtet werden. (gemeint sind sowohl paniertes Fleisch, gebackener Fisch, gebackenes Gemüse etc.)
Gibt es da einen so einen praktischen Oberbegriff wie im Deutschen?

Explanation:
I submit this because paniert means "battered" i.e.of fried fish,as well as breaded or breadcrumbed,the former being just a shorter form.

deep-fat fried and breaded foods should be avoided


Explanation:
The breading isn't necessarily the problem - it's the fat that packs the calories, and is difficult to digest.
