German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Cooking / Culinary / food safety | | German term or phrase: Abfüllanlage | I've often struggled with this term. Sometimes bottling plant will work but only if it involves beverages. Cannery is another possibility (I used to work in one as a hot-grabber) but again, it's too specific and doesn't cover other methods of abfüllen. Can anyone think of a generic term that would work here?

I certainly wouldn't like the idea of "filling station" - I don't drink petrol (or diesel), which is the usual meaning in English. It might also have been deliberately christened thus by the English, noted for their sometimes perverse sense of humour...
