fresh sea bass
Explanation:
Same reference as Wenjel, a bit further down in the text:

Es folgt ein frisch aus dem Meer geangelter Fisch (Angel-Loup, wird deutsch ausgesprochen, nicht engl. "Äindschel" und auch nicht franz. "Ongschell"), …

Loup, I believe, is the French for sea bass

Thank you very much. I have also always thought that "loup" means wolf, and wondered if it could be "wolf fish", but do not know for sure if that exists, since I am vegetarian. I will assume, for the future, that "sea bass" is the correct translation.

I think, ...

Explanation:
I think, this term is a French one and not necessary to be translated.

Nein.

agree msherms: I agree that loup is bass (though I always thought that loup means wolf), am just wondering how you translated the angel bit. I am sure it is right, just wondering how you came about it. Also - vielen Dank für die Antwort..dann schmeckt er himmlisch gut!

-> "ein frisch aus dem Meer geangelter Fisch" as per ref. Hat absolut nichts mit Engeln zu tun ;-)
