German term or phrase: Haarpassé
"Erlernen Sie aus der Basis unserer ClassicCutting Collection heraus den magnetischen Fluß zwischen Führungshand und Schnitthand sowie Stufung und Gradation innerhalb eines ***Haarpassés*** in Perfektion zu arbeiten."

The final question from my hairdressing brochure at last! I haven't got the faintest idea what a "Haarpassé" is, and neither have the dictionaries. TIA for any light you can shed on this obscure hairdressing term.

Explanation:
Hi Rowan, I don't know for sure either, but could it be something as simple as "a section of hair"?

agree Lori Dendy-Molz: Hi Becky! I think this is on target here. "Sectioning hair" is a basic haircutting technique, so I think this is fine.

-> Ok, that sounds good. As long as they don't turn it bluish-black anything is fine with me! ;-)

agree Sarah Downing: Hi you too! I seem to remember having coming across Passé before because I do haircutting texts on a regular basis - you know how I love my cosmetics texts ...;-)
