Vor einer Verwarnung bzw. einer Streichung aus dem Register wird die betroffene Schule angehört. In schweren Fällen kann der Stiftungsrat im Sinne einer vorsorglichen Massnahme die Streichung der fehlbaren Schulen sofort verfügen.

Not sure if "heard" fits in this context. Would "consulted" be appropriate? Refers to the Swiss Private School Register.

Explanation:
I'm not sure "heard" works, or not as "the school will be heard" - whereas something involving hearing would sound more comprehensible to English-speaking ears. E.g. "there will be a hearing, at which the school will be represented", or "a hearing will take place, at which ..."

die streitenden Parteien anhören - to hear the parties of the dispute

I think "heard" fits in this context quite well and is a juridical term. "Consulted" might sound a bit soft in this case?
