German to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / German Certificate
German term or phrase:Fachhochschulreife
I have just had my Zeugnis zur Fachhochschulreife translated and
evaluated. The translation of the credential seemed accurate, or is it?:
Certificate of University of Applied Sciences Maturity
-but it was made equivalent to a US High School Diploma, from a vocational school.
Does this sound correct? I am a bit confused and appreciate your
@asker: Although most FH say they are U.ofA.S. that is not correct; the correct term is given by the EU as college of higher educ/vocational coll./higher technical institute. The certificate is not sufficient for University admission!
