the multiple choice dilemma 07:18 Nov 4
@Helen,
Thank you for your explanation of how things should work and I am very much in agreement, as I often have second thoughts myself and it's nice to be able to amend one's original answer.
However in this case the problem of "multiple choice" now arises, as your posting now contains the two most popular alternatives, so it's not just a refinement of your original suggestion.
How should people like me vote if they want to give their "agree" to "circle time" ? Do we vote for "circle time" as suggested by mOOnshine at 12 minutes or for "story time" as suggested by you at 4 minutes because you added "circle time" at 7 minutes and thus theoretically were the first to provide the answer we want to support?
My posting was from the point of view of a peer. I always try to give my "agree" to the person who first provides the answer I want to vote for. But in this case I had give my vote to MOOnshine and not to you, otherwise I would have ended up voting for your first answer, wouldn't I ? That's what I meant about your having a main and a subsiduary answer.
How do others deal with this dilemma? I have encountered it before. |
