German term or phrase: Institut für Kommunikationswissenschaft und Medienkultur
Title of an institute, part of a German university.
I should have told you the whole story. I was doing too much at once and didn't think the whole process through before posing the question. And -- sorry Ramey -- I wasn't being coy. Just too rushed! In fact, apologies to one and all for any inconvenience, annoyance, wasted time, irritation, nettled nerves, etc. Back to my main task for the week: trying to yank together a technical training manual that sounds like it was written by a 12-year-old. sigh
This received 4 votes because "it is the official name of the institute". I wonder whether it would have been so wholeheartedly endorsed if the real question had been put in the first place, i.e. "Does this sound all right in English?"
Well, you've made an institute happy. Having been made aware, at a double remove, of the discussion going on here, Leuphana weighed up all the options and decided to stay with what they had. Thanks from them for your help.
Just thought you folks should know. Thanks for all your responses thus far! I posted the question for a friend of mine, and I'm forwarding your answers to her.
