German term or phrase: Kniereiterspiele
This term comes from an official German-language brochure for parents on what they can do at home to help their children learn songs and generally acquire language competencies. It is probably referring to songs where the child sits on your knee and bounces up and down while singing, but I do not know of a suitable translation for this in English. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Here is the entire sentence: "Bauen Sie Lieder, Auszählreime, Fingerspiele oder Kniereiterspiele in den Alltag ein"

Explanation:
I prefer 'knee-bouncer rhymes' myself, but it only got two google hits, whereas 'knee bouncing rhymes' got far more.
