German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / digital cameras
German term or phrase: Aufnahme jede siebeneinhalbte Sekunde
You have a digital camera. This camera can take photos in bursts, i.e. in quick succession. You adjust the interval for taking these pictures to:
1/30 SEC, 1/15 SEC and 1/7.5 SEC
every thirtieth of a second, every fifteenth of a second and every ??? of a second.

Stellen Sie hier die Aufnahmegeschwindigkeit für die Multiburst-Aufnahme ein:

1/30 SEK:Aufnahme jede Dreißigstelsekunde.
1/15 SEK:Aufnahme jede Fünfzehntelsekunde.
1/7,5 SEK:Aufnahme jede siebeneinhalbte Sekunde.

English translation:7.5 pictures per second
Explanation:
The German text says Geschwindigkeit, so that gives you the liberty to rephrase this to rates in English, i.e.

You can adjust the rate for taking pictures to:
1/30 s = 30 pictures per second
...

Note: I'm assuming that 1/30 s (or 1/30 SEC, or even 1/30 SEK) is the setting that appears on the camera display, otherwise you could/should write 30/s

Your suggestion gave me the way to go but when I checked with the customer they came up with something different:
1/30 = 2 x a second
1/15 = 4 x a second
1/7.5 = 8 x a second.

Maybe you can work out the maths...
