Just for thoughts. Although "partial" is right in the general sense that only a part/portion of the battery charge is available, I understand "anteilig" as a more specific expression, as "part of/partial in relation to something" - here, as Ken also explained, the relative charge level of the battery, i.e. as "proportional." "Partial" is more general, and I would expect it translated as "zum Teil/teilweise."

Thanks Armorel. I did come up with a term for Ueberbruekungsdauer (length of the power failure that the backup battery can support, not reset).

Ryan, I don't follow your use of "reset time" (but you may well know better than me!). Surely the Überbrückungsdauer is the length of the power failure that the backup battery can support - why is this a reset time?
