German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Stromlaufplan
German term or phrase: zusammenhängende Darstellung / aufgelöste Darstellung

I came across the terms assembled representation / exploded representation. Do they apply to circuit diagrams as well?

English translation:related view/ exploded view
Explanation:
according to "Ernst Wortebuch der Industriellen Technik" is a zusammenhängende Darstellung in English, a related view, this can also be the actual view of a diagram. The aüfgelöste Darstellung is an exploded view or in modern English we could call this a zoomed view.

wiring diagram / circuit diagram

Explanation:
I have never heard of an exploded circuit diagram.

From your definitions, perhaps you could use these two variants. The wiring diagram would show what cables go to what connectors on what boxes while the circuit diagrams show what is in the boxes.

Just a thought based on my experience.
