Explanation:
Well, I know you have been asking about electricity, but this strikes me as odd wording in German for electrical power. So, I was thinking maybe some sort of gate with a lock, perhaps like you see on those carts in the malls.

Of course, it could also be the mains fuse box that you are locking.

Just another shot.

neutral  Nicole Schnell: The German wording is indeed odd - but what trade show booth staff knows what a Trennschalter is? Due to their typical architecture, trade show booths cannot be locked.
