agree Sabine Griebler: yes, it should be absolutely because it's "Absolutposition" and not "Relativposition". Fully would not work here.

  -> That's what I originally thought... absolute in the mathematical sense is what is needed here.

agree Ken Cox: since this is a position encoder, 'encoded' (but not encrypted); as griebler noted, here absolute is the opposite of relative, and what it means is the the 'actual' position can be read, not just the change in position (as with an relative encoder)
