German term or phrase: Resonanzkreis
Occurs several times in a patent description of an RF surgery procedure - I've found "resonant circuit", "resonance circuit" and "tuned circuit" - what would the best oprion be?
Not much context - it occurs in sentences like "Die Einrichtung ... weist einen Resonanzkreis auf" etc.

I answered this one last, so that Netzwerk may need some retuning :)

This and tuned circuit are frequntly used in the USA. More often, I have seen the tuned circuit terminology used in filtering, i.e., removing certain frequencies from a circuit while resonant circuit is used when generating a certain frequency for a circuit. They also may be used together, if your resonant circuit is broad.

Good luck.
