Why I do not like to use "system" in the given context ist explained by the definition.

Habe mal ein bisschen gerechnet: 100 MWh/d passt relativ gut für eine große Anlage, besser jedenfalls als 100 MWp (was wirklich enorm groß wäre). Vielleicht bist Du doch auf dem richtigen Weg.

Vielleicht sollte man einfach abwarten, ob der Fragesteller sich noch mal meldet...

I'd be interested in the native English speaking colleagues' opinion: Would you call something as huge as this a photovoltaic system?

The picture shows an installation with a peak power of 20 MWp and is considered the largest one in the world. Hence my question whether the asker got the figures right.

This is a 12 MWp plant:

Please don't take my question as critic, I'm genuinely interested as I'm not sure about the usage.

Was sollte denn MW/Tag bedeuten? Das ergibt überhaupt keinen Sinn. Wenn schon, wäre MWh/d denkbar. Und das wäre auch größenordnungsmäßig ungefähr plausibel (aber das ist nur grob über den Daumen gepeilt). Ich lese MW/p als das im Englischen gebräuchliche MWp, wobei "p" für "peak" steht: die Spitzenleistung.
