Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation / Definition of a unit
German term or phrase: Bh
This abbreviation/ acronym appears in the description of power turbines and more specifically in the description of the point in time when these units are due for an overhaul i.e. "4,000 Bh".
It is also written as "bh". I am sure it means some kind of turbine life - perpaps "B" hours.
Knowing what it stands for is not essential for the translation; but I would like to know just the same.

In einschlägigen Arbeiten zur Kraftwerkstechnik bezieht sich diese Abkürzung auf die sog. Reisezeit z.B. einer Turbine, also die Lebensdauer, Inbetriebnahme in Stunden.
