German term or phrase: Gaspreiszeitraum
"dass sie am Stichtag bereits für einen ***Gaspreiszeitraum*** nicht in der lage war das unter dem ELV gelieferte Gas wirtschaftlich zu vermarkten."

would require VNG to provide evidence on the reference date that they had been unable to economically market the gas supplied under the NGSA for a ???

a "gas price period" search in google showed that this is generally used with a qualifier, i.e. high or low, and is not an official term for the period in which the gas price is fixed at a particular level.

Anyone?

Hi JRB
'Fixed price' is a bit too reminiscent of 'price fixing' for my liking. It's your call, though.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Sounds right, but yet it does not refer to the tariffs paid by end users, but to the price fixed between a gas producer and a distributor/utility, which is generally not referred to as a "tariff". I could use "fixed price period" instead, could I not?
