“Kinematic Outline: A two-dimensional shape that consists of the Static Outline plus the maximum permitted allowance for vertical bounce upwards plus lateral and roll movements in response to a steady-state cant deficiency force at maximum permitted Cant Deficiency (or the maximum permitted installed cant) and dynamic movements in response to track irregularity.”

profile relevant/profile critical
Explanation:
Here we are dealing with a testing specification for "checking the profile critical points of the locomotive with reference to kinetic profile" (kinetic outline).

These points are relevant or critical to the profile.

I would rather say that in English we talk of kinetic energy and I personally consider kinematic as influence of another language. I just now checked in Google kinematic has 1,500,000 its whereas kinetic has 16,400,000 hits.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you. So is "Kinematic" wrong?

Asker: Thanks, but I'm not sure the number of Google hits kinetic gets is really decisive, as it has an entirely different meaning as far as I can see. I'm sure you're well aware of kinetic energy etc., but the definition of kinematic outline I quoted above is just one reference (from an English speaking country) that shows that is isn't simply a variation on the word kinetc (or cinematic).
