Context:

"die Temperatur beim Trocknerbetrieb (X°C) darf nicht an der Aussenscheibe anliegen"

In the specifications (Lastenheft) for an installation (cf. http://www.proz.com/kudoz/4445683 etc.). This is about the glazing for a heater/dryer. I'm thrown by 'anliegen' here.

- die Temperatur beim Trocknerbetrieb (X°C) darf nicht an der Aussenscheibe anliegen
- at all times, the temperature at/of the outer(most)/outside/top/surface layer/pane of the (laminated) glass shall remain below the dryer operating temperature (level) of X °C.
