Lass einfach mal eine Google-Suche mit "void" und "erlischt" laufen; die Übersetzungsmöglichkeit "void" für "erlöschen" ist nicht ungewöhnlich. Wie Klaus ja auch schon bestätigt hat, ist "void" in diesem Kontext gerade auch in den USA gebräuchlich, und da muss man sich als Hersteller ja wirklich nach allen Seiten hin 110%ig absichern.
